Since 1997, Superior Personnel has been a provider of temporary, permanent and contract staffing solutions to our clients. Having been based in South Auckland the entire time has enabled our company to build a pool of reliable and loyal staff to provide 24/7 service to our clients. Now under new ownership, Superior Personnel has retained the same experienced recruitment consultants with more than 40 years combined experience specialising in industrial and commercial temporary and permanent placements. We take pride in ensuring the experience for both our clients and temporary and permanent staff and candidates is a positive one, treating them as "real people".
Superior Personnel's charge-out rates are transparent by including holiday pay, accident compensation (ACC) levies, statutory holidays, sick leave and administration costs. We do not support the emerging practice of forcing temporary staff to become independent contractors as we believe this places an unrealistic expectation on the staff's ability to pay large tax and accident compensation costs.
We are committed to making Superior Personnel a leader in Health and Safety in the temporary labour hire and recruitment industry by creating an injury-free work place. To attain and hold that position we affirm that:
• We hold Health and Safety of our staff as our highest values.
• We believe that all accidents and injuries are preventable.
• We operate on the basis of continuous improvement.
We consider safety in every task we perform and in every decision we make. As Managing Director, my staff and I are concerned about the safety of our employees, families, clients, contractors and visitors, and the communities in which we operate. As a demonstration of that, Superior Personnel has invested significantly in Health and Safety improvements in 2013 and is scheduled for a Workplace Safety Management Practices Audit with ACC in March 2014. As part of the process of continuous improvement, this three year audit process ensures Superior Personnel has policies and procedures in place that show real improvements in our Health and Safety practices.
